ICT Officer (PS 5)

Scope of Services:

Design a website for the Project Co-ordination and Management Unit.
Draft designs for information and communication technology.
Facilitate the drafting of information and communication technology policies.
Identify information technological solutions for institutional information and communication technology requirements (Requirement Analysis, System Analysis).
Perform preliminary activities related to designing information technological solutions (System Designing).
Conduct technical evaluations relevant to the field.
Implement and evaluate Information and Communication Technology projects.
Generate information system reports for management requirements (MIS reports).
Coordinate and maintain links with internal/external institutions for activities related to the specialized field.

Develop, test, implement, and manage software for identified requirements (Programming/ Development, Testing, Implementation, and Maintenance).
Develop, administer, and maintain databases (Database Administration).
Design, update, and maintain official websites and perform key duties in this regard.
Update software to cater to user requirements.
Implement necessary actions for the safety of software and data.
Coordinate and maintain links with internal/external institutions for activities related to the specialized field.

Develop, administer, and maintain computer networks (Network Administration).
Identify errors in computer hardware/network hardware and take action to rectify them.
Administer internet/e-mail facilities.
Perform activities related to computer networking, network security administration, and key duties in this regard.
Coordinate and maintain links with internal/external institutions for activities related to the specialized field.
Perform any other tasks designated by the Project Director and Deputy Project Director arising in the course of business.
